Pakistan court rejects plea for diplomatic immunity to a CIA agent. It is widely known that CIA indulges in espionage and sabotage in thirds world countries. The court verdict is welcome and apt.
I won't comment on the desirability of extending diplomatic immunity to cases like these but surely this issue has grave implications on future US-Pak relationship!

Diplomatic immunity is given to some one appointed to a post eligible for such immunity. If the said C.I.A. agent was not holding any such post or was in Pakistan in a non diplomatic capacity, the immunity can be rightly denied.
