Now, film on Phoolan Devi’s killer

The life of Sher Singh Rana, who shot dacoit Phoolan Devi on July 25, 2001, will make it to celluloid. Interestingly, Rana who is currently imprisoned in Tihar Jail, New Delhi, has himself written the script. Says producer Jagjeet Singh Walia, “Rana has written the story for the film because he wanted to make people aware of the fact that he has not only avenged the slaughter of 22 people by the Bandit Queen, but has also gifted his community (upper caste of Kshatriya Rajput Thakurs) freedom and pride.”

I dont think he has done anything good for the society to talk about pride of thakurs. killing and doing all types of bad things on poor people in the name of power is what they do in general and he is no way having any rights to talk about anyone pride..because they dont know what is pride exactly.
The crime thrillers are hit at box office. Obviously, the Bandit queen killer's story is hot theme for movie.

Such films are not much helpful to the society. these kind of movies are for the sake producers and the other staff who have picturized this picture to earn money.

The movies are for entertainment only. If this purpose is fulfilled, the film is helpful to society.
