Children who have a good memory are better at telling lies

It is easier to speak the truthy. A liar has to be of good memory and intelligence. You need to remeber your own lies so that you may be consistent. 

True, to tell lie kids have to think more than while telling truth. But it is not a good habit, and it will not give any benefit to our family or society as the kid will try to tell lie to everyone. 

I agree children should not cultivate the habit of Lying. Parents should keep a strict vigil on such kids. It should be seen that the good quality having strong memory should be utilized in the right way so that their strong memory stand in good stead in the child's studies.

If this memory power is combined with Intelligence, then the child is able to realise that telling lies never helps , speaking the truth always does...However, you cannot except perfection in anyone since all have flaws and children have to be taught the pros and cons of both..

That the children who have strong memory are good at studies was mentioned in the article itself. The remaining things like as you said Telling lies is not a good trait and the harms related are to be taken care of by the parents and the teachers.

No it has nothing to do with studies..A combination of Memory and intelligence sharpens the brain and also gives clarity to ones action...so the child is able to realise that teeling truth has many more advantages 

Children often lie to escape punishment from the parents. We know many parents induce fear with the wrong notion that they are teaching discipline. This creates more fear and the habit of telling lies further increases. Parents should exercise utmost patience to stop the habit of telling lies with love.
