According to the statistics while on an average there is a murderer to be found among every 1061 citizens in India it is 1 in 30 among the MPs....Bharat Mahaan!!!! and our esteemed PM and the rest of the senior congress leaders wanted to bless the lot with more goodies in the name of ordinance bill...Shame on the lot ! :angry:

    Speaks about the real mettle of Indian citizens, is all I can say to these statistics! I have often heard from elders that a criminal who commits crimes is sinful, but the victims who suffer those crimes wordlessly is equally sinful! So it is our fault really that we let such criminals rise to power! :blink: Mera Bharat sach me hi mahaan hai! :blink:

    Speaks about the real mettle of Indian citizens, is all I can say to these statistics!     I agree ! Without the support of their followers and also their party high command they would not be able to thrive....It almost looks as if India is going the same way some of the drug infested South American countries function....Drug lords are the law makers there ! :ohmy:

    Are the statistics about murder only or all crimes. The ratio among politicians has to be more because there are many offences related to political activities. If a politician fights for a cause, he will be arrested and some allegations made. For example, there is an agitation for Bench of High Court at Agra. In such agitations also,some may be arrested and jailed.
    What is significant is not 'crimes' as such. The 'crimes involving moral turpitude' which means sex and corruption related crimes only matter.

    I am sure civil cases and communal disturbance and such things will not be considered dangerous like criminal matters posing danger to other human beings...

    We always reject all candidates but one and in the process select best possible candidate according to our choice. The question of rejecting all arises only when every candidate is corrupt. This is not usually the case. It cannot be that every one is corrupt or immoral. If so, it is citizen''s duty to get good candidates and propose them instead of rejecting all.

    South American countries are infested with drug lords, while ours is infested with corrupt politicians-turned-builders, with a number of dubious businesses. Also they are not really different than British conquerers who adopted divide and rule policy, our politicians are doing the same, each party being no different than other, but only under the guise of secularism! So there is not much difference between the drug lords and these kinds, both are equally damaging to human kind!
