P.M. has rightly warned Italy of consequences of not sending back the accused in case of murder of Fishermen. We hope PO.M. will be as strict in action as he is in words. There is no reason why we should tolerate Italian deception.

At last the issue is resolved. The Italian marines accused of killing fishermen are returning to India.

Good news. These people have misused (overruled) their power and authority. They should be punished :cheer:

Indeed a good news. When every one was dejected with our foreign policy describing us "Chicken heated: this news of returning of marines rejuvenates us.

It is good news, surprised that the Italian government agreed to send them, of course with a condition that they will not be given any death penalty..

The marines are not subject to death penalty as only rarest of the rare cases fall in that category. So, this is just an explanation of Indian law communicated to Italy. This is not a condition as such. The Italian Govt. also have a law that they would not repatriate anyone to a country where death penalty is in vogue. So, they needed a clarification that has been aptly given.
The two mariners may have come back, but Italy is calling the shots saying that they should be tried in Rome...Thats how they take care of their citizens even when they commit a crime for which they are punishable under the law, but in our country the ordinary citizens life has no value except when you are a politician, a celebrity or a hardened criminal belonging to the minority group...
