Who is a Diamond Member?

At present we have several hierarchies and platinum forming the top.But I find some members who have forum posts numbering 2500 or more have the title 'Diamond Member' apart from being a 'Diamond Mate'.

    I am diamond mate so I am also diamond member. This time I think only 2 member are diamond one me and other Deepti.

    I am not able to understand the rationale behind linking these two.You can have a threshold of say 35000 or 40000 point for giving diamond membership.

    The present system is not logical.Under the existing system there are three tiers,silver,gold and platinum and a member has to pass through these stages to become a platimum member which requires 25000 points. Now one can become a diamond member by posting 2500 forum replies which effectively means by scoring 12,500 points one can become a diamond member.That is utterly illogical!

    Chinmoy- There are two sets of hierarchies- membership based on number of points pertains to the site. Second set based on number of posts pertains to Forum Discussions only.
