Hello,

I went to the dentist, and they decided to perform a root canal on this tooth. They had some 40% discounted dental plan for individuals who did not have insurance, so i took it and proceeded with the root canal. After the procedure was completed, the quoted cost exceeded way more than I was told, so I never went back to get the crown. I have swelling, and some numbness in my jaw, and sometimes slight pain which shoots up to my ear. Not much pain though. I have been taking Golden-seal root hoping it will help reduce the infection(if any) until i can see a dentist. What could this be?

There are many ways that a problem can be solved. I always prefer the best approch of contacting specialist even if it costs few more bucks. After all it is our health.
