Of course parents, there is no substitute of parents.They give us birth and helps to be a human beings after a great sacrifice.We can not get back them if we loose them.Lovers can be available after lost.
If her parents are not much affectionate to her and the lover is so caring then she should choose her lover.If her parents love her so much then she should choose her parents.anyhow everything depends on the situation.
Parents and lover are not substitutes. She has to make a choice between lovers or her lover and one arranged by parents. The issue may be of a groom other than lover selected by parents. If she loves very much, she may revolt and choose her lover. Otherwise, she may accept her parents' choice.
