What steps or programmes should be taken for successful eradication of poverty?

Enhancing skill and creating business opportunities in poverty ridden regions will considerably remove poverty.

Government should increase the employment oppurtunities to all the people according to thier skiils.

the difference between much poor and rich people should be decreased and each level of people in india must have equality in all rights and poor people must have equal resources to work and improve their status.

The most important thing that we - the people of India - must address ourselves - is rooting out corruption in programmes which are meant to banish poverty.We have to improve the quality of governance and the delivery mechanism has to be made more efficient!
