they are mummified with death mask and some medicines are been applied to the dead body of mummy , so that they wont get spoil then they will be bandaged.

Long back I have learnt in some book that they take out the internal organs and place them in a certain kind of pots and they take out the brain with a kind of hooked instrument from the nasal passage and after that they apply some medicine so that the body could be preserved for a longer period of time....
