The cash credits for articles differ from revenue sharing and do not affect each other. The Rs. 1,500/- threshold is the amount payable including all cash credits- articles and revenue share. Just see the 'My Earnings' button on left of the screen. You will get all data about your total income, paid and balance due. Whenever the balance due is Rs. 1,500/-, you will be issued a cheque.
