Drass in western Ladakh is not only the coldest place in India, but also the second coldest place in the world. Temperatures drop down to about -40 degrees Celsius in this town lying about 60 kms west of Kargil.

    Temperature below -40 is I can't imagine how people are living there . So there must be people living . So difficult to resist that much cold!
