I was astonished to know the so called Mod words like LOL and OMG owe their origin to the Bard of Avon. I was equally astonished to know that the word 'Assassination' was used first by this inimitable writer of all time.
Very thought provoking article. I owe my gratitude to you.

I was astonished to know the so called Mod words like LOL and OMG owe their origin to the Bard of Avon. I was equally astonished to know that the word 'Assassination' was used first by this inimitable writer of all time.

Its my pleasure sir!!! :) I too was really astonished to see these words first used by Shakespeare! Most of these words are totally synonymous with the young crowds of today. Just goes on to show that classic literature never goes out of fashion!

Very informative link. I was unaware with the fact that all these words which we use in our day to day lives, were gifted to us by Sir William Shakespeare.

Sir William Shakespeare invented thousands and thousands of words and expanded English language. His contribution will always be remembered.
