Moner Manush (The Quest) received the prestigious "Golden Peacock Award" for the Best Film at the 41st International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2010.

The director of the movie Gautam Ghose and the producers of the movie shared prize amount of Rs 40 Lakhs.

The prestigious award was given in the presence of Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Choudhury Mohan Jatua, Goa Chief Minister Digambar Kamat. Saif Ali Khan was the chief guest of the ceremony.
