Rushdie's memoirs will be interesting. Hope there will not be another fatwah against him as he may give some reference to Satanic verses in his memoirs.

He knows the art of selling his work! In fact,he thrives on controversies and I am sure his memoir would be no exception!
Hope at least he makes this interesting without any controversies. :P :P
There are some authors who make it a point to raise controversies and the reading public too have a liking for them!

Most of the succesful authors in the world are known for their controversial works!
One such controversies even i had more interest on is Da vinci Code.I really struggled so hard to get a copy of the book. :P :P

I hope he presents facts in his memoirs and not fiction!
Taking advantage of the fact people are more interested in controversies writers focus more towards it.
