HYDERABAD: Assets disproportionate to the known sources of income of Deputy Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, Kadapa, K. Srinivas Rao, worth over Rs. 2 crore were found during a raid by Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on his residence at Kadapa and his relatives' and friends' residences at Duggirala and Tenali in Guntur district, Tirupati and Hyderabad on Friday.

Searches resulted in unearthing of immovable assets including four house sites at Tirupati, Guntur and in Ranga Reddy district, three flats at Tirupati and Hyderabad, two buildings at Tirupati, 14 acres of agricultural land at Emani in Guntur, one two-wheeler and cash of Rs. 11 lakh, 300 grams gold jewellery worth Rs. 3 lakh, investment in chit funds worth Rs. 1.5 lakh, FDs in banks and post offices worth Rs. 1.1 crore and bank balance of Rs. 19 lakh.
