With the Delhi Games set to begin on Oct 3, several schools in the national capital declared holidays starting from Friday, Oct 1 while the remaining will close on Saturday, Oct 2, which also happens to be Gandhi Jayanti.
The CWG 2010 will end on Oct 14. So the early holidays along with the customary eight-day Dussehra vacation add up to 17 days.
