I think you don't get points for making friends....
Submitting articles is nice but for that you need to be good writer.
Making polls is good Idea but You can create max 5 polls a day that means only 10 points.
I think Commenting & voting is Very good. It gives you three benefits -To become Highest voter, Highest commenter & Revenue sharing.
