The Union Agriculture Minister has predicted a bumper crop this year with monsoon advancing all parts of the country.But the bad news is that two most important grain producing states Punjab and Haryana have been in the grip of an unprecedented floods.

Last year the country experienced a huge deficit on this count and the normal monsoon this year should brighten our hopes on the price front.

May his predictions turn out to be a reality!!! We all really do need it to happen, especially the poor farmers!!
The unprecedented floods in Punjab and Haryana are again the indicators of usurped natural balance due to polluation and global warming!!

That's a worrying thing! We have floods in one of the drought prones states like Rajasthan.
