What is the reason for our film personalities entering into politics? Is it for money or fame or really doing service to the people?

A politician needs popularity for getting votes. The actors are already popular and so they think they will do well as politician. This is obviously for money and fame. As regards service, they do so even as actor. We all serve. The politician also serves people but getting money and fame is main object.

For the sake of money. They are very popular among the people. So parties need them for votes. Some actors set parties. But very few are suceed. Vijay Kanth from Tamil Nadu and Chiranjeevi from Andhra Pradesh utterly failed in the elections.

Although most of them tried their luck by encashing their silver secreen image, very few of them have made it.
yes i agree that as they already are popular i think they have though that politician is the next step..But most of the film actors have not succeeded in acheiving except some famous CM's like NTR, jayalalitha and sunil dutt...etc..
Being popular means he needs some power other than the fans. So they enter politics. In some places like TN and AP they gets really success. In my personal opinion, they should refrain from entering politics.
I don't think any such bar should be in place.A person can be successful in both but these persons are exceptions.
Most film stars enter politics only to add glitz and glamour to campaigns. It remains to be seen whether we hear of them after the polls.
Beacuse of media coverage ,money and popularity...they have ..i gues this is the only reason
