Thanks Meean for this informative article. But I do not endorse the article fully. The question of man or woman being older or younger is immaterial. The couple should be of almost same age for better compatibility. Thus the husband may be around five years older or five years younger. There are also exceptions. Physical structure and mental capacity also matter. some one may be advanced in age but yet younger at heart. Some get older earlier.
As long as the couple are physically and psychologically compatible, nothing else matters.
The conclusions drawn statistically are not very dependable. It is said that statistics can prove anything. You may draw a sample of 1000 couples now and find out results. Again draw a sample of 1000 couples some times later. The results will differ.

I've heard an argument that women die earlier than men, typically, so, if a young guy marries an older woman, he'll become a widower and be like that for too long. I don't know if this is true!
