The mothers are closes to children since their very childhood. The mother breastfeeds the child and cares very closely. So, the child remembers mother's love till life.

Mothers by nature are compassionate and forgiving more than teh fathers are! Also like Gulshan said that they are more closer to children than fathers and this bonding is present even before a child is born. Also the fact that women are more empathetic and display emotions better than men which makes them more understanding of their children's issues and problems. Hence mothers are more supporting than fathers!

Some time it depends on the situations also.. In some cases mother is very supportive while in other father is..

In some cases,I find father is more emotional than mother.

Mother will have more passion towards her children.It is psychological attachment.Father will also have same attachment.But he may not be able to express it like a mother.

Agree !! Kalyani!!

I think mother is very flexible also due to the emotional attachment. She easily forgives her child. But it is quite difficult for the father.
