Agra is centre of tourist attraction as Taj mahal, one of seven wonders is situated here. Strangely, there is no international airport at Agra.
U.P. Government and Central Government are contemplating to construct International airport in NOIDA while arguing that this will attract tourists to Agra.
strange logic. Why not International Airport at Agra, if tourists are to be attracted to Taj. Obviously, this is a very illogical decision and against interest of tourist industry at Agra as well as logic of establishing air port in the city where tourists are to be attracted to.

Airport should be constructed in Agra. Taj Mahal is the seventh wonder in world. so it should compulsory have airport. Otherwise it becomes a shame to India. Then more tourists come to Agra.

Abid- This is not due to lack of space. There is a lobby at Delhi who do not want to encourage hotels at Agra. Their aim is that tourists first visit Delhi and return from Agra on the same day. If international airport is at agra, the tourists are likely to visit agra direct without going to Delhi first. Then they may also stay in agra hotels and visit more places around.
