Nepal is our neighbor. Vhina is also Nepal's neighbor. So Nepal needs maintain at leastworking relation with both- India as well as China. No doubt, There are Hindus in Nepal as well as India. Nepal was a Hindu nation. But now Nepal is secilar. India is also yet secular. Thus India and Nepal are both secular. Another thing. President and Prime minister of Nepal are communist. Vhina is also ruled by Communist Party. Thus Nepal has something common with India and China both.
Realation depends on mutual interest and respect for sovereignty of each other. Nepal is a self respecting sovereign country. India has to respect sovereignty of Nepal and not interferein internal matters. If India respects sovereignty of Nepal and doesnot interfere with her internal issues, therelations should be smooth.
we need to rememberthat there are no peranent friends. Thereare permanent interests.

Interference in the internal matters of Nepal, and raising concerns on this issue by India is the cause of strained relations between India and Nepal.India asked Nepal Government to make seven changes in its constitution, which should have been avoided.
We have to remember that there is an open border between India and Nepal and often this is the route terrorists have taken to infiltrate into India. Given this fact India would naturally be concerned with Nepal's growing friendship with China. The only option left for India would be make Visa mandatory for Nepalis and also close the border or else we will have Chinese will have an easy access to come into Indian territory ! India is right in showing its concerns now that Nepal will be a secular state and if it is going to be on Indian model then we need to seriously worry about our safety ..
Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!
Religion is not a binding factor. Otherwise Christian and Muslim countries would not be fighting each other. India and Indians should not see Nepal as a Hindu nation but as a independent sovereign nation Also the fact that the PM ans President are communists also explains leaning towards China. It is not going to be easy for India to woo Nepal like before but that is the challenge Indian goct has to face and overcome.

It is not policy of India to interference in the other country. Nepal has only one thing common it is communist government. But it is not permanent. It may possible that in next election other party come in to power. The mazor is that India and Nepal have common interest. Nepali is integral part of Indian society. (not India) Many Indian are doing business in Nepal. Any hardship with Indian in Nepal may cause of problem for both country.

It is right that development of friend ship of Nepal with China is not in the interest of India. It may possible that in future Nepal government allowed China to have camp of army in Nepal, on head of India. Making Visa is not practically possible. Millions Nepalis are living in India.

Yes I am also saying it, Nepal is not problem for India but going step of China in to Nepal is not good for the India, we have not forgotten Tibbet.

There are millions of Indians working all over the world without any problem, it will be the same for Nepalis living here and things would be better organised too for our country and its safety which is what is first priority !

As Nepal is neighbour to both- India and China, many would betreating China as a sort of competitor. China could also take advantage of our less than cordial relation with Nepal. Here lies the test of our foreign policy. Nothing can be taken for granted. If we wish China not to entirely depend on China, we have to be more carefulin respecting sovereignyof Nepal. Mere religious or cultural similarity does not help.

Nepal is a in a very bad situation as the communist parties have succeeded in their efforts of bringing Nepal closer to China and now Nepal sitting in China's lap is trying to dictate terms with India. China is looking for long term gains at the cost of Nepal.
