I seldom buy any second hand items. The only second hand items worth buying are house and vehicles.

True. We should think twice before we purchase things mentioned in the list like Mattresses and pillows.
It is always better to avoid second hand purchase. It may result in spending more money than the cost of a new item, especially the electronic items, if we are not so careful.
Very true. Used things can never give that ' Extra Satisfaction'. Go for a new one. Beaware not to go for used mattresses.

I used to buy new ones always. Because as you said that only gives that excitement of buying a new thing and it feels good that you are using that as a fresh thing.
many good books that I have read have been purchased from second hand book dealers at throw away prices.
Books are different. I too go an extra mile to buy a book. But the article says different things like used mattresses anduused pillows.
Not yet but if I find anything worthwhile I can consider buying that. The main thing is it should be really worth.
But some household things are not worth buying especially used utensils, mattresses etc.
