These days everybody is selling off his/her costly Multimedia mobile phone just to get a basic model 'Android' mobile phone. Can any of the hi-tech guys here tell me what is there in an Android mobile phone that is not present in mobile phones using other operating systems? Don't you think that this interest in Android phones is over-rated?

The first factor that make the Androids crazy among the public of late is, its Android, a linux based operating system intended for touch screen mobile devices. This OS has an edge over others because, its an Open Source. The android operating system gets frequent upgrades from Google . It has unlimited Applications. Available on Multiple Mobile Phones.
Craze without purpose is meaningless. In the case of Android, there is a reason. It has many utilitarian features which cannot be found in other brands.
