blank space at the top and bottom
in General Discussions
Now a days am getting a remark from the editor that there is a blank line at the starting and blank line at the ending of the article. Am not understanding how they are saying it. But After getting this remark, I took care of my articles for not giving chance to editor to give such remark, from then i started deleting the space. But I am not able to delete one line space. so what should I do for removing blankling space

    This is about space before first line and after last line. There should no blank line before the first line. also there should be no blank line after the last line. You may remove blank line by using 'Delete' key on key board of your computer. .

    gulshanji, I have removed the blank space. But after removing the blank space also, at the starting and ending one line space is being remained. So can you please tell me what to do, how to solve this problem?

    my article was rejected by an editor giving a comment that I have used wrong font size but I am confused as there is no such rule saying which font size we have to use moreover I can't find an icon above toggle box to change font size any how I have change font size to 10 and resubmitted it lets see what happens. Anyone if knows it please help. :)

    You might have removed space in notepad before copying in Boddunan editor. Even then blank space remains in Boddunan. So you should remove the blank lines before the first and after the last in Boddunan editor itself. This you can do by using Del key on computer.

    Why don't write articles directly in the toggle box?.

    go to the start of your article and press "backspace button" that will delete what ever blank space you had left in the start of your article. Press "delete button" at the end of your article that will delete blank space if there at the end of your article that's what I do. :)

    I have not seen any article rejected for this reason but of course I have seen remarks on almost every one. The way to remove is to go to full screen mode and there you can by placing your cursor on first word know the gap and reduce it. Also the gap in between the paragraphs and lines is important.

    You do not have to use any particular font size any more but the default font. You can use headings like heading 2-3 -4 or bold according to need.

    Press delete key on the blank space above the first line in Boddunan editor. similarly press delete key after last word in the last line. But I don't think that articles should be rejected for this reason only.
