Friends last year I have been to Dehradun and Musoorie. Dehradun is my favourite hills station. I went there in winter season, in the month of January. It was raining and very cold. The hills and forests looks more beautiful in rain. Hindu temples are amazing and interesting too.

Last year I went to Haridwar and unfortunately it was Ganga Snan that day so the place was fully crowded lot of traffic jams which unnecessary wasted lot of time moreover there was huge crowd in NELKANTH mandir which kept us waiting in queue in sun for more than 4 hours.
Even I experienced the same in Shirdi two months ago.. It was too much crowded at that time, and it took 6 to 7 hours to came out from temple.
