It appears that Baba Ramdev is occupying the space left by exit of team anna from the anti corruption stage. Baba Ramdev with his saffron attire, persuasive but forceful style and very large following may soon replace Anna team.

Baba Ramdev is agreeable to get LoK Pal Bill passed without getting rigid like anna team. He has genuine and loyal followers unlike Anna's facebook followers.

    I think taking everything into account Anna is any day better than Ramdev...Ramdev is no doubt attracting a lot of media and public attention now, but one wonders how long it will last ..

    RamDeo is famous for yoga and meditation among people and he teaches well but I think when it comes to politics he is bit immature sometimes his statements looks as if he does not think before saying. :blink:

    I also wonder how long Ram Dev wave will last. He has stated that he will postpone agitation till next elections. Anna is already out. But I do not understand how Anna could be better than Ramdev. Anna team is more concerned with Lpk Pal Bill Draft and legal framework than actual corruption and black money. Ram Dev is more pragmatic. He has real followers and not just those temporarily managed by media strategy and facebook/ blog. It is funny of Anna team to run campaign merely by blogging and social sites. .

    Both are fighting and fasting for the same cause i.e. Lok Pal Bill. Both are popular among the masses. They don't want to join politics but they are playing political games. I think it depends on people whom to choose the best.

In fact, anna team is a collection of confused and self contradicting persons. They are more involved with comma, semi column, full stop in Lok Pal Bill. Ram Dev is not only clear but he is also more pragmatic and common sense campaigner. He is not obstinate and is business like. He has greater chances of success.

    He is definitely not a politician and he has his own idea about Rahul and others. We may not agree with him but we cannot say that he lacks maturity or common sense. He is a successful Yoga Guru and manages a large chain of Ayurveda pharmacy. He has also cases of tax evasion and service tax against his concerns. This is only a comparison between anna and Ramdev. In fact, I have personally not to choose between the two. .
