I agree totally. That is why he has decided not to agitate till 2014 when parliamentary elections will be held. He has shown strength and proved his superiority over anna team. So, his task is finished.

Yes and besides that the inconvenience he caused on the Delhi roads that day was enough to prove it.

It appears that Baba Ramdev is occupying the space left by exit of team anna from the anti corruption stage. Baba Ramdev with his saffron attire, persuasive but forceful style and very large following may soon replace Anna team.

Baba Ramdev is agreeable to get LoK Pal Bill passed without getting rigid like anna team. He has genuine and loyal followers unlike Anna's facebook followers.

I think taking everything into account Anna is any day better than Ramdev...Ramdev is no doubt attracting a lot of media and public attention now, but one wonders how long it will last ..

In fact, I have personally not to choose between the two. .

Actually Ramdev Baba's medicines are very cheap when compared to same products manufactured by other pharmacies. I find them cheaper by 15-20% and are more within reach of common people!!

Dabur honey is priced around 85-90 rs for 250 g, (I am not sure as I stopped buying it) whereas he sells it for rs. 50 only with the same high quality! See the difference?

Yes Both are good.. People are going against ramdev because his products had worse effect on fmcg companies. Thts why they want to take him do.

Every citizen who cares for his country and self respect should come forward and speak against corruption and bad things happening all around. If one is limited to his job and not allowed to talk politics, we can start right from Mahatma Gandhi who was a Barrister and not a politician and never participated in politics. But no one objected his participation in agitations against evil and bad rule. He might have committed some mistakes but instrumental in awareness. Even you can come forward and make people aware about current situation of the country. If one sticks to his profession only all the Chidambarams, Rajas, Manmohan Singhs, Akhilesh and Sibbals shall have to go back to their respective fields of professions.

Even you can come forward and make people aware about current situation of the country. A yoga Guru can participate in politics. He is also a citizen and can contribute to national policy. But what needs be stressed is that all should work within frame work of constitution and not create lawlessness.

I agree but the question is one who talks about black money of others is he honest enough and made his factories/outlets all over India with his own money. :blink: I recently met a baba who was literally abusing Ram Deo as he said that they were promised for 800 rs/day if they sit in ramlila ground with Ram deo but he never paid a penny to all those babas I don't know what is the truth Moreover I noticed it even in the news journalists used to say him BABA RAMDEO when he was only a yoga Guru but now they say Ram Deo ji see the difference. :woohoo:

These are two different issues, his followers pay him enough to increase his wealth. He is open to inquiry any time government wants to. In case he is hiding his income that is against the rules but if he is earning it through valid sources and paying tax, no one can stop him. I read Manmohan Singh's income increased by 5 crores with in last year. Now I am unable to understand what factories does he run or which of his properties appreciated as much.

We should not mix the issues. The issue is as to who is in better position to lead anti corruption movement. Anna Hazare or Ram Dev. The issue of Ram Dev Trust wealth or Man Mohan singh income are distinct. If it is necessary to discuss these, there should be separate thread.
