In my childhood, a grandmother was there.....a close relative of my father. Actually, my father spent his childhood there. It was a joint family of 25 people or more. A very old grand mother (actually, my father's grand mother) was the head of the family. She makes very nice food. The taste of her breakfast items......till now, i can't match it with anyone. Even if I tried a lot, I can't make such a tasty Kozhukkatta. We make spoons out of jack fruit leaves and coconut leaf sticks. It's really traditional too.
Do you remember such persons/incidents who gave you such wonderful food which we may not be able to make that much tasty???

But I disagree with you.
Actually, my mother was not a great cook. But once, daughter-in-law came to home, she began to cook well. ha ha.
Am really surprised with her change
Now, am learning many recipes from her

My father cooks better than mother.
In my childhood days, my father only prepare chicken and payasam.... not mother.
My mother doesn't know to make payasam till now.
My father makes Halwa very good.....when i was a kid he prepares it every birthday of mine
