Filing of I.T. Return

Is it compulsory to file an Income Tax Return even if the whole tax liability is already deducted at source.

Although in some cases, there is exemption from filing return, It is compulsory to file the return in most cases.

    You mean below 5 lakhs annual income, no one need to file for I.T return.

    Isn't that for super senior citizens over the age of 80 years ? For others I thought it is Rs 1,90 ,000 for women and 1,80,000 for men and of course the LIC deductions if you have any ...

    If your income is taxable before allowing deductions in Section 80(C), 80(G) etc., you should file a return.

    It is compulsory and our duty to file I.T return every year .Which show our honesty income.As per govt slab no need to file Income Tax Returns for Income upto Rs. 5 Lakh.

    Now online I T Tax filing is available. If your income exceeds 500 000 then you can fill.
