What is the difference Monitor, screen and display?

    Monitor is the whole instrument. Screen is the part of monitor on which you see the inputs or outputs. It is function of monitor to display inputs/ output on its screen. Display is function of monitor. Practically, these terms may be used as synonymous.

    Monitor means the body which leads the whole unit. VDU shows us the final output. So we call it a monitor.
    Screen shows us the output.
    Display is the actually verb but we use it as noun to mean the object which show us the output. It is nothing but the screen(VDU).

    We use monitor in Computer or Laptop. So,i mean that the big screen could be said a monitor.

    Screen : Screen could be LCD Screen and LED Screen.

    Display: Is where the information or the output we see on screen.
