    sarala..a is not a word...it is a letter...sorry that io also posted wrong without thinking i posted i in my last pot. that is not a word. it is letter.

    I think a is a letter in alphabet and when it is used in sentences to indicate one as number it is word as it is a part of speech.

    The mostly used letter in english is not A.

    Just do some hard work to find it.

    'a' to 'z' are letters are alphabets. A word is composed of several sound that convey a meaning. 'a' is a letter. 'a' is also a word meaning 'one'. This is single letter word. Similarly, 'I' is also a single letter word.
