I liked the tips given by Devyani and Sarala. washing feet with warm water and ofcourse a clean bedroom will give you a sound sleep.
reading bagwat geeth or ramayanam or satcharitra before you sleep gives a pleasant and sound sleep without any night mares

When I feel more tiredness then I able to take good sleep so I try to work hard on daytime to get tired.

Going to bed at a particular time regularly helps in getting good sleep.

Most of the people have sleeping pills for sleeping as they won't get sleep but it is really unhealthy and shows side effects.Try to watch tv for more time , then you will get sleepeasily
