Are sweepstakes for real or are they just scams?

So many firms nowadays offer you an opportunity to win "big money" in their sweepstakes. But, does anyone really win or is it just another scam?

    I still get sweeptakes from readers digest but I throw these in waste paper basket even without looking at. Let us not be lured by unearned money.

    Most of time i have seen fake emails of winning sweeptake from Microsoft. initialy i felt it is really but gradually understood that it is fake and are used to know our bank acount details . :angry: :huh:

    I too received a mail from reader's digest and later understood that it is a bluff.

    Yes I also get some messages through mail or in my mobile like this. These all are bogus.

    I think people are now a days very much aware of these fake sweepstakes and lottery.

    I also gets this from Readers Digest.When too much irritating I post some waste papers in their reply paid envelope!
