Cricket is a game that is so simple to understand by anyone and even a kid of six years could tell the difference between bold out and caught behind. Hence the simplicity of the game makes it such a famous game. I always love to watch cricket and sometimes even play with my friends!!!
Hockey needs a lot of encouragement and we should support hockey apart from cricket. To get attraction and attention of the masses hockey players need to perform well and win tournaments and then I think people might lean towards it just as it happened in case of India when India for the first time won the World cup tournament back in 1983....
Hockey used to be India's number one game and we have a glorious past but it has seen its best days - so it seems thanks to its administrators and the people behind running hockey in this country!
