You can make use a software which shows you how much bandwidth spend.. LIVE.. when you surf any pages. Here is the link to downland it..

You need to download and install it....

When you install it you can see a tray icon and as soon as you click the icon a small display banner will appear and you need to click the button next ( Left) to the Cross, to fix it permanently.

Once you fix it and star surfing you can get the updates regularly. For example after you install it will show 0.00. Now if you go an surf in net, say you go for the site www.boddunan.com, then you can see the increase in bandwidth from 0.00 to 0.20 ( approximately )and to some extent this will give a close data of how much bandwidth you spend while you are surfing.

But make sure that you go to BSNL ( if you have BSNL broadband) or the internet service you use and check the daily usage, as this may not be very accurate as that of the official status.But this really helps me as I can see form this Bandwidth meeter whenever I exceed the level.
