    Hidden treasures contain gold, silver and other unproductive assets. If these are sold and proceeds used in market, prices will rise as these treasures do not add to goods in market. The best way is to sell these treasures in international market and buy goods from abroad with funds so realized. Thus, these treasures may help.

    Supreme court has asked for inwuiry in temple wealth. It is also suggested that the temple assets be kept in a musueum and be used for tourism promotion

    I think the government needs to exercise greater control over the finances of these temples so that these huge assets of these temples and trusts are properly accounted for and put to the benefit of the people.
