IPL 3 Auction: Preview - Before auction

1) 67 players were in the auction list
2) only 12 slots are available for the team
3) New rule of "Silent Tie Braker" is announced by IPL in this auction. According to this when there is anty competition bettwen teams for a player they cant bid after 750,000 US $ and they must enclose the secret amount to Lalit Modi and the team with the highest will get the player.So the US $ 750,00 goes to the player and the rest goes to the TPL
4) Pollard of West Indies will be the key pick.
5) Shane Bond interested in playing under Dhoni for Chennai Super Kings.
6) 11 players form Australia, South Africa and Pakistan
7) Auction starts at 12 noon (IST) on 12/1/2010
8) 1 player from Holland, Canada, Zimbabwe and Bangladesh also features in this list of 66
9) Each team has a cap of $ 750,000
10)Selection of Pakistan players by the franchise will be interesting.
