This a timely one! Many of our shrines are awfully crowded and have no protection whatsoever!

The religious shrines are protected against sabotage and terror. There is more security after akshar Dham episode. However overcrowding and devotees' own actions may be bigger danger to security.

While the government has made arrangemnts for security for some shrines which are the targets of terrorists, there are quite a few where security is completely absent!

no our religious shrine are not protected as it sutiuated in a crowded area.

I think still the protection is lacking in many religious shrines.
