Steps to be taken by Government in steep raising of petrol prices?

The government should intimate the people about saving the patrol as it is a non renewable resource it can't be reproduced so try to save it starting from today.

It is necessary to reduce the demand for petrol. Personal vehicles should be discouraged and public transport be used by most people. This will be economical. The tax on petrol be changed from ad valor um to specific rate. Presently, whenever there is increase in crude oil, government revenue also increases because of increased tax.

Petrol prices can be stopped from steep raising only when there is no demand for petrol, so we need to save

Petrol prices will get reduced only when there is no demandfor it.So,we should take serious steps to save it.

That government should encourage other sources like biodiesel,water etc so that the petrol prices come down.

government should check the reasons of petrol rising prices.

Governement always says that Petroleum companies are under loss.So the best way is to have an alternate.

I don`t think there is any alternative for petrol..Government have to make a good deal with foreign countries in the form exported things......
