I think so far as the Indian team is concerned it is a good plan to rest the experienced players after a long period of world cup and a long session with IPL....At the same time it is a good idea to give opportunities and responsibilities on young shoulders to see you the cope up with the situation provided they are given the chance.....As far as I heard Sachin is accompanying the team to the West Indies...
