    I agree. pleasing everyone leads no where. I am reminded of a story. A man and his son went to a place with a donkey. The son rode while the old man walked. Some men remarked that the boy was worthless son as he rode while his father walked. The son dismounted and his father rode. After some distance, some women remarked- How shameless. This man is riding and his tender son is made to walk. Then both mounted the donkey. A group of children remarked- These are so cruel to the poor animal. They are burdening with their combined weight. Then both walked with the animal relieved. Soon, a group of people laughed - How fool are these. They are walking even though they have a donkey. Would it not be better if they took their own decision instead of pleasing everyone.

    Hi,

    Pleasing everyone is not a key to success. But If you are in corporate world, then you have to do team work. Team work is great key of success. :)

    I don't think even in the corporate world such a policy works where duties are clearly laid down and official hierarchies exist!

    Working as a team in coordinated manner is not same as pleasing every one. The political leaders are perfect in this game. They say different things at different times and places to please all. This works for them.
