    The divorce procedure depends on personal law. Hindu and Christian religions do not allow divorce. Hence, there is no religious or community system of divorce. Islam recognizes divorce. Hence, uttering 'talaque' three times completes divorce and the dovorced wife gets Mehr.

    The 'separation' suggested in the link is also court's order. This is judicial separation. When the couple are without child and not much to settle about property, it may be practicable to end relation out of court. However, in absence of a court decree, they cannot be considered as divorced. In case of marriage to some other person, complications may arise if some one complains.

    Hindu and Christianity do not allow divorce and hence this is through court only. Muslims may divorce by pronouncing 'taslaque' thrice. Divorce is definitely not good but some times, this may be necessary.
