Hello Santosh. The correction in the above statements is : The word 'Fair' is wrongly spelled as 'Fare'.
I hope you will accept the correction in a positive manner.

By prize do you mean, daily contests, weekly contest or the Adhoc awards that has become pretty popular these days?

The daily contests are given based on the number of polls voted or comments placed, so that is automatic.

In terms of Creative poll award, Amit is really posting interesting topics(i too like them), but as Maverick said, many add more detail to description and not the main title, so they lose their opportunities. The Adhoc awards are given mostly based on support of members given to the site, so that is also a decent way of saying Thank you.
Anusha M. very detailed comments on system of prize distribution. Santosh has actually not misspelt 'fare' but used it wrongly. 'Fare' means rail or road tariff whereas 'fair' menas nice or and exhibition or a gathering like Kumbh Mela. The word 'fare' also exists but not suitably used.
