Food inflation surged back into double-digit territory at 12.13 per cent for the week ended December 24 as the prices of vegetables, particularly onions, rose for the third consecutive week.

Food inflation registered a sharp increase during the week under review from 9.46 per cent in the previous week to enter double digits for the first time since November 13, when it stood at 10.15 per cent.

I heard in the news that after onion tomatoes are catching up. I know in the next season aam aadmi(common man) will not be able to eat aam(mangoes)
Yes the vegetable rates are high suddenly and normal persons can not buy vegetable after some days.. :(
Who knows this pitch better than the ladies who goes to markets for buying vegetables everyday...

Government should take the strict action against the Hike of prices of all those mandatory Goods in daily use.
