Its very sad news, may his soul rest in peace. People should ne very careful in mass gatherings as any time mishappenings can occur. When I was in Kolkata, in Durga pooja there is huge gathering of people. Many people loose their footwear, wallets, mobiles because the crowd is in lakhs. Stampede is also a very common in those festival. Sometimes people willingly try to push each other to take undue advantage of situation. Some boys have the only motive to molest maximum number of girls and they boast as if they did some great thing. Girls cannot complain to anyone because thousands of people are all around and no police. People should avoid going to such mass gathering where incidents can happen.
Accidents are bound to happen during mass gatherings of the festivals. People are usually drunk in these processions and they simply indulge into merrymaking without giving a second thought. Momentary fun sometimes leads to a huge loss. It is always sad when a life is lost and in this case, a young soul is gone forever.

And what about the driver who could not know that his car is dragging someone. May be he was drunk thats why it is better not to drive after drinking but people don't understand it.

It is story of everyday. Our whole system is liable for it. Condition of road, untrained drivers and lax law and order. It rule that driving licence suspend if person is driving in drunk condition. I never listen that licence is suspended.
It is definitely a sad incident but not one of it's kind. Such road accidents keep happening in our country. They make headlines for a day or two and then are forgotten. Reckless driving and drunk driving should be heavily penalized and there should be strict punishment to discourage it.
I am open to experience what life's mystery bag holds for me

Yes, definitely. It's not about Mohit being drunk but lost his life due to the callousness and recklessness of the driver. Might be he was drunk but most importantly he seems to be inhuman.

It seems there was no police to manage the procession and side by side to control the regular traffic. Accidents occur regularly but still, general people are not willing to be careful. Truly, the whole system is liable as you have opined.

Yes it looks there was no police. Had police been there this would not have happened.

Police is here but it is only to collect money. They do not care for public. Most of drivers of India drink before driving but they have not any fear of law, they know that we will be get free after paying 50 or 100 RS

You are being very unfair to the police force. May be you don't realise it, but police are working hard to let the society enjoy a peaceful life. No doubt, there are some who are corrupted or not doing their jobs well. But why insult the whole police force for the misbehavior of a few? In that case, are you going to blame each and every sector as in every sector we come across few individuals who are corrupted.
And if I am not mistaken it was you who once said in another forum that we should not blame the whole group for the mistake of a few.
I have come across many police who have done their duties very sincerely. So I still have faith in them. I know that they care deeply for the public.
