It appears so. The Drugs Racket is sucking the Youthful energy for which Punjab was known for. Both Mainstream Parties could not control this Drugs mess, The Lord of Drugs is one Vikram Jeet Singh Majithia. His Drug trade is surviving with the blessings of  many Parties

In this connection people of Punjab found a ray of hope in AAP , which promised the people of Punjab to relieve Punjab free from Drugs.

This the reason why there is a possibility for Aam Admi Admi party may win a few seats in the Punjab elections.

The condition of the Electorate anywhere is same.  It seems there is a tendency in the electorate to vote for Politicians with criminal records.

Sad but no option left. We have to choose thief among the robbers. Politicians and goons have become synonymous

Exactly. Now it is high time to educate the electorate.

Even educated electorate have no option. It will improve when educated and clean people enter politics. So the minimum qualifications for candidates will be good measure and no one can contest election if he has a criminal record against him. It should not wait for the court verdict

No matter what , according to a survey conducted by Pranoy Roy and Shekar Gupta for NDTV , AAP is likely to win considerable number of seats in Punjab since Akali - BJP would face incumbency and Congress may not do well..

AAP may be won some seats but not considerable. Image of Akali is not good at this time. BJP have noting to lose because it is B party of Akali in Punjab.

But, people of Punjab are pinning hopes on Kegriwal of AAP. Because he promised , if he is elected he would make Punjab a State without Drugs

AAP is a new party and people hope that it will do wonders , however, they shd know better than trusting them after seeing their pathetic innings i Delhi. However as far as BJP is concerned even winning a few more seats than last would be a good sign because they are steadily bettering themselves !

It is not easy to make drugs free to Punjab. Most of drugs sumggled from Pakistan. In Punjab liquer and drug mafia is much powerful.

Easy or difficult. That is what Kegri Promised and Punjabis believed. Let us see how the things turn up.

Kegriwal is not from Punjab, even he can't speak Punjabi properly. Making promise is routine work of leaders.

OK.Even though Kejri cannot speak Punjabi, it is a fact that Punjabis believed him that he will make Punjab free from Drugs. let us see wait to see how far Kejri can stand up to the expectations of Punjabis

But I am sure their minds are made up before they go to the polling booth. There may be some  who cast votes just to get the benefits like money or other gifts that come with it .

Yes. I have been hearing in the News about BJP's good performance in the Western UP.. But, there SP Congress alliance is strong. Anyhow, the election results will be out soon, Let's wait.

When voters do not indicate for whom they have voted how does one conclude which way they voted. Jats are supposed to be angry with BJP for not acceding to their reservation demand. RLD is a total Jat party. So please hold your comments as they are based on your wishes and not facts. Wait till 11/3.

That is what I said. I said in my post that we should not jump to conclusions. Rather wait till 11 March.

One thing is for sure , the elections in five states are going to change power equations for sure . I personally feel that it is a good thing rather than have just one party ruling forever like we have had for decades at the center  ..It is better to have achange especially when the power goes into the heads of the leaders and they become corrupt and arrogant. They shd be put in their place and taught that they are like us not Demi gods that they think they are. .
