He was a ever smiling and cheerful person. May his soul rest in peace.
The north-east part of our country has lost an important voice. Nobody can forget him soon because he wan an efficient Lok sabha speaker. He died in New Delhi after he suffered a heart attack. The whole country should mourn his passing.
Rambabu has got it wrong . Sangma was 68 and not 86 when he passed away.
His date of birth 1st Sept. 1947 makes me say that he was one of those Indians who grew up along with independent India as he was just 16 days younger than Free India. May his soul Rest in Peace!

Sangma was a straightforward person from what I have seen of him speaking to the media and his interviews... 'May his soul rest in peace !
